To review the progress achieved in respect of preparation and deposition of Jamabandies under Phase Ist of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), the Regional Director (RD), Survey and Land Records South Kashmir (SLRSK), Dr. Abdul Hafiz Shah today convened a meeting of concerned Tehsildars of Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian districts at Headquarter Harnag here.During the proceedings, the Regional Director took a detailed review of the work done by the Tehslidars with regard to the matter. The chair was apprised that out of 394 Villages, 392 Jamabandies and out of 347 Villages, 342 Jamabandies have been completed in Anantnag and Pulwama respectively. It was also informed that out of 273 Villages, 254 Jamabandies and out of 240 Villages, 228 Jamabandies have been completed for Kulgam and Shopian respectively. Dr. Shah directed the concerned Tehsildars to complete and deposit the pending Jamabandies in office of the Regional Directorate Maraz fixing June 13, 2021 as the deadline for the same. Pertinently, in the 2nd Phase of the programme, digitization of Jamabandies will be taken.
