The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of establishment of Covid Care Centres (CCCs) in various panchayats of the district.The meeting was informed that out of 385 panchayats, 300 panchayats have been fully equipped with required infrastructure to meet the demand of patients at panchayat level.On the occasion, the ADDC directed the concerned officers for acquisition of the required number of beds and Covid related equipment for the rest of 85 panchayats on priority basis through the GeM portal. He stressed upon them to ensure the CCCs are made functional within the stipulated time frame.Earlier, various BDOs apprised the chair about the functioning of CCCs in their respective jurisdiction. Among others, District Panchayat Officer, Block Development Officers and other concerned attended the meeting.
