District Admn Sets Up Covid Helpline For People

In view of the covid pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner Mr Tej Partap Singh Phoolka has set up control room and started covid helpline to extend all kinds of possible help pertaining to covid to the district residents. Giving further information, SDM Barnala Mr Varjeet Walia said that the 24 hours helpline will be manned by government employees that would be working in three shifts each. They will answer the covid queries as well as provide all the necessary help 24 hours round the clock. People can call at the numbers 01679-230032 and 75280-34032 and get the help anytime they want to.Covid helpline nodal officer Charanjit Singh Kainth (Chief Agriculture Officer Barnala) said that the helpline is working from office of Sub Divisional Magistrate Barnala room number 5, wherein including the Saturday and Sunday weekend, the helpline is working round the clock. He added that duty staff and further supervisors have been deputed at the helpline office.The helpline provides all kind of help regarding vaccination, vaccination centers, mapping, sampling, availability of beds, oxygen supply, ambulance services and others.
