Governor Bandaru Dattatraya felicitated NSS volunteer Ashwarya Kashyap, student of Himachal Pradesh University, Institute of Legal Studies, Chaura Maidan, Shimla at Raj Bhavan today, who participated in National Youth Parliament-2021 held on 12th January this year in New Delhi. The Governor also presented Appreciation Certificate to Mrinal Joshi, student of Government College Sanjauli, Shimla which was received by Programme Officer, NSS Seema Kashyap on her behalf. While congratulating Ashwarya, the Governor said that it was a  matter of pride that a girl from Himachal has achieved this level of success with her extraordinary talent, which was also an inspiration for others. He said that today, girls were doing excellent in every field and should be given a fair chance to prove themselves, he added.He expressed satisfaction that NSS volunteers from Himachal besides rendering selfless community services also takes part in different services. He advised NSS authorities to promote the services in a big way so that more and more students take part in the activities of NSS.Dr. H.L. Sharma, State NSS Officer, Himachal Pradesh was also present on the occasion.
