The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of re-poll in DDC Constituency Hajin-A.The DC sought details from the Nodal Officers regarding arrangements being put in place for re-poll at a seat in Hajin following the Election Commission has directed re-poll on the seat.The meeting discussed availability of logistics including ballot boxes, stationary and other related requirements.The DC directed Nodal officers to work in close coordination with the election cell and adhere to all government directions issued from time to time.He also laid emphasis on apprising daily progress achieved in finalizing the arrangements for enabling the conduct of re-poll in a free, fair and transparent manner.
