The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Bupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of enrolments made under the SEHAT health insurance scheme in the district.On the occasion, DC took a detailed review of various necessary aspects associated with the scheme wherein he emphasized upon the concerned officers to work in coordination and synergy so that the desired results are achieved. He directed to speed up the enrollment process and cover every beneficiary within its ambit.The DC also directed to launch an awareness campaign so that people are educated at grass roots level about its benefits. He added that every effort shall be made in order to percolate the benefits of the scheme at ground level.Joint Director Planning, Chief Medical Officer, ACD, DHO, Block Medical Officers and other concerned were present in the meeting.
