How has your journey been in the glamour world till now and when did it start ?
It has been a truly gratifying experience since I had my first tryst with the glamour world at a very early age of only twelve years. I have featured in various print, electronic and digital advertisements. I have acted in several popular T.V. serials like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Vaishno Devi besides others.
Did you audition for this role, how were you selected for playing the lead actress?
I think the Writer and Director, Monjoy Joy Mukerji had seen my pictures and he was auditioning at that time for the lead actress opposite Vikram Kochhar. Maybe based on my looks which suited the character, he felt he should cast me.
How was your experience in working for Footnotes?
It was a novel experience and I enjoyed working in this short film thoroughly. Vikram Kochhar was a great co star to work with and the fact that Monjoy Joy Mukerji was directing it was the icing on the cake.
Do you feel that a small town girl can make it big in the Hindi film industry ?
Yes, definitely fortune favours the brave ! If you are talented and good looking, you just need to meet the right people to make it big.
Why should anyone watch Footnotes?
Because it's different. You need to watch it to understand why I am saying this !
