DC Anantnag honours field functionaries for excellent service during heavy snowfall

To honour field functionaries for their valuable service to restore normal life, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, KK Siddha today distributed safety kits among the employees of PDD for working tirelessly in the field for maintenance and restoration of electricity in the district.He distributed 20 and 10 safety kits comprising of Safety gloves, Safety belt, shoes and Helmet among the line men of the PDD department division Anantnag and Bijbehara respectively.The DC said that he  observed in the field that line men are working without the safety gears which poses risk to their lives.Moreover, Imtiyaz Ahmad, casual labour (snow machine operator) of Mechanical department was rewarded with Rs 5000 for working tirelessly for 4 days in snow clearance operations in different areas of the district.
