Responding promptly to the challenges thrown by inclement weather and heavy snowfall in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, K.K Sidha today made an extensive tour to various areas of the district and personally monitored the snow clearance operations, restoration of electricity and water supply, besides ensuring availability of essential commodities like ration, medicines, cooking gas etc in the district.Siddha visited SDH Bijbehara and Emergency Hospital Qazigund to take stock of the availability of medicines, power supply and heating arrangements. He also interacted with the patients and directed the health officials to ensure quality health care facilities and heating arrangements to the patients.He also visited the Navyug Qazigund, Banihal Four Lane tunnel and enquired about the status of its completion from the concerned authorities.
