The eSanjeevani – National Teleconsultation Service developed by C-DAC Mohali and funded by MoHFW has won Digital India Award – 2020 in the category of Innovation in Pandemic. The award was conferred by Hon’ble President of India on 30th Dec, 2020 to Dr PK Khosla, Executive Director, Dr SP Sood, Associate Director and three Senior Officers of MoHFW.The eSanjeevaniOPD was quickly developed during lock down and rapidly scaled up. Dr PK Khosla stated that it has been rolled out in 28 states of India thereby training nearly 30,000 doctors and paramedics. Nearly 1.2 million consultations have been carried out using eSanjeevani. Dr Hemant Darbari, Director General C-CDAC stated that we have scaled up the solution to conduct more than 15000 consultations per day. Having done in India, now we are exploring the scope of going global.
