PM’s live Kissan Samvad streaming held across Jammu division amid massive audience

Prime Minister Narinder Modi’s Kissan Samvad live streaming was today organised across the Jammu division amid participation of huge audience.During the address, the PM announced the release of seventh installment of PM Kissan Nidhi Yojna (December 2020 to March 2021) for 9 crore registered farmers of the country.Under the PM-KISAN scheme, a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to small and marginal farmers, payable in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.The arrangements for the live stressing of mega event was organised in all district and block headquarters.

AT REASI: This District level program was chaired by District Development Commissioner, Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib  and was attended amongst others by Chairman Block Development Council, PRIs and officers/officials from Department of Agriculture, Horticulture along with over 150 farmers from Reasi, Jij Bagli, Thakrakote and Bomag.On the occasion, Rs 4.46 crore was disbursed amongst 22325 farmers of District Reasi as seventh installment of PM Kissan Nidhi Yojna (December 2020 to March 2021) by transferring the amount to their accounts through DBT mode. 

AT UDHAMPUR: District Administration Udhampur hosted an impressive function.  District Development Commissioner, Dr Piyush Singla was the Chief Guest, while Chief Agriculture Officer, Subash Sharma presided over the function, which was attended by SSP, Sargun Shukla, BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanches, Panches and District officers of various departments besides a large number of farmers.Seventh installment under PM-Kissan scheme (December 2020 to March 2021) amounting to Rs 11.17 crore was disbursed amongst the 56913 registered farmers of the District.Similar events were organized at Sub division level/Zonal level/Panchayat Level where the concerned BDC Chairpersons, PRI members, farmers  graced the occasion.

AT RAMBAN: District Administration Ramban in collaboration with the Agriculture Department   organized various programmes to mark the release of the 7th installment of   financial benefit to the farmers under the PM- Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Harbans Lal Sharma presided over the programme held at district headquarter. Similar programmes were also held at Block as well as Panchayat level where live telecast of PM’s address  was screened.In Ramban district 34882 farmers were benefited under the schemes.

AT SAMBA: The Kissan Samvad live streaming at Samba was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria  which was attended by all District, Sectoral Officers alongwith over hundred farmers. The benefits PM Kissan scheme were also disbursed among 29535 farmers of the District.Earlier, Chief Agriculture Officer, Sanjay Verma welcomed the participants and apprised about ongoing schemes of the Department.Similar functions were organized at all nine blocks and Panchayats in which Block Level officer of Agriculture and allied sector along with  farmers also witnessed the live streaming / address of the Prime Minister. 

AT KISHTWAR: District Administration Kishtwar hosted the programme under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma. Block Development Council Chairman, Kishtwar Suresh Sharma, BDC chairperson, Palmar Lalita Devi, besides 100 beneficiary farmers were present on the occasion.A total of 38818 farmers of the district  got the 7th installment through DTB mode.On the ocassion, the concerned district officers imparted awareness to the participants regarding the various centrally sponsored and beneficiary oriented schemes related to the agriculture and  allied sectors.Similar programes were hosted at all others blocks of the district  in cooperation with the BDOs and concerned field functionaries of Agriculture and  allied departments.

AT RAJOURI: To create awareness among the farmers about the latest agricultural techniques and encourage them to go for modern farming, the Department of Agriculture Rajouri on the occasion of E-release of 07th installment of PM Kisan Saman Nidhi by the Prime Minister organised a Kisan Gosthi(Scientists farmers interaction)   under ATMA scheme.The interaction programme was presided over by the District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh.Agricultural Scientists imparted knowhow of various modern techniques which can be applied in the agricultural sector to enhance the crop production to increase their income levels.An amount of Rs 8.60 crore was electronically released as 07th installment for the 42999 farmers of the district under PM Kisan by Prime Minister of India.Similar programmes were organised in all the subdivisions of the district. 

AT DODA: A large number of farmer beneficiaries participated in the program organized at district headquarters Doda as well as other designated places.District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, presided over the main function.On the occasion, Chief Agriculture Officer apprised the participants that 98 percent farmers of the district are covered under PM Kissan and the 7th installment has been transferred to their accounts.
