Printing and Stationery Minister Rajinder Garg presided over the review meeting of Printing and Stationery Department here today and said that the work of printing and stationary should be done with vigour and efficiency.He directed the officers of the department to fulfil the requirements of Stationery of the state government, various departments, Universities and Boards on time. He said that the use of new technology in printing would be promoted and training provided to the employees in this regard. He also directed the officials to prepare the assignment related to Panchayati Raj elections in time.Rajinder Garg said that 150 different types of publishing materials are provided to various departments including writing paper and stationery drawing. He said that stationery articles are purchased through e-tender after getting approval from the Stationery Committee constituted by the government and complete transparency is ensured in this work.Later, Rajinder Garg also inspected the Government Printing Press of Printing and Stationery and took stock of the works of the Department. He appreciated the efforts of the officers and officials and assured them of redressing the grievances sympathetically.Controller Printing and Stationery Reema Kashyap and other officials were also present on the occasion.
