Block Diwas 02 : DDC Rajouri listens to people’s issues at block Koteranka

On the second Block Diwas of the ongoing 21-day Jan Abhiyan, the district Rajouri wore a festive look with enthusiastic participation of locals in the public hearings held across  all blocks .District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandan Kholi attended the Block Diwas at Kortanka.Scores of people  including BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanchs, Panchs,  civil society members, retired Government Officials attended the event and projected numerous issues pertaining to their blocks, Panchayats and wards.A dozen delegations led by BDC chairpersons, Sarpanchs, Panchs besides scores of individuals  apprised the DDC about the problems faced by them in day to day life.Specific Issues raised during the Block Diwas included construction of Road from Kotranka to Khawas; establishment of KV at Kotranka; clearance of MGNREGA liability; payment under CM commitment; BT of Kotranka shahpur road; ration issues; PMAY G payments; abolition of guarantee clause under KCC,sanctioning of Bank branches like SBI, completion of Eco park ; clearance of contractor liability under Tameer Scheme and other issues of public issues of urgent nature.The DDC gave patient hearing and passed on-spot directions for redressal of their grievances. The DDC  said that all other demands have been documented and directed the officers to redress the grievances pertaining to their departments before the next Block Diwas programme. The DDC also handed over Domicile, income, RBA, Labour cards and other revenue certificates among the applicants and labourers.
