As a part of Jan Abhiyan, District Development Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib today presided over the  function of 2nd Day Block Divas here at Jij and Panassa blcoks. The district development Commissioner was accompanied by all the district and sectoral officers.At the outset, the District Development Commissioner presided over the function of Block Divas at Jij and Thakrakote where she listened to the grievances of the public. The Block Divas programme was attended by Block Development council Chairperson, Srpanchs ,panchs and general public.The BDC Chairperson along with the Sarpanchs ,panchs and general public projected numerous issues of public importance and sought their redressal.The Specific issues raised at Jij and Thakrakote includes Promotion of Education such as upragadation of High school jhandi to Higher Secondary School Jhandi, High school thakrakote to Higher Secondary School Thakrakote,  Electricity supply and water supply  to Jhandi, Kalaban, Matah Upper, Matah,  construction of Roads from Arnas to Kanote via Thakrakote under PMGSY , construction of B/Path from Matah to Chilli galli, B/Path  from  jhandi to  thakrakote, construction of houses under PMAY, timely payment to MANREGA employees, transformer to given at Jhandi, Kalaban, Matah Upper,Matah, carriages of Ration were not given at time, and issuing of Aadhar cards repectively.The District Development Commissioner gave a patient hearing to all the issues and resolved some of them on the spot while the rest were forwarded to the concerned department for their redressal.
