Public outreach programme organized at Bijbehara

District Administration Anantnag today organised a public outreach programme here under Jan Abhiyan.During the programme the public representatives raised various issues related to irrigation, drinking water, power supply, ration, road connectivity, health, education and various other community issues. District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, K.K Sidha while speaking on the occasion give a brief introduction about the Jan Abhiyan Programme launched by LG.He also directed the concerned officers to address the issues and demands raised by people within the stipulated time.The DDC on the occasion briefed the people about the schemes under implementation in the district and stressed upon them to get benefitted by these schemes.The DDC appealed the public to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines including usage of face masks, sanitizers and maintaining social distancing to play their part in further spread of the virus.The DDC further appealed the people to go for covid testing which is compulsory and available at ever Tehsil to flatten the curve. The outreach programme was attended by heads of all departments including SDM, Tehsildar, Ex. Engineer PHE, PDD and BDO besides President MC Bijbehara and other Tehsil officers.Later, the DDC visited Zaiba Aapa institute of inclusive education and was apprised by the concerned about the achievements and future plans of the institute for disabled children.While interacting with the disabled children, the DDC gave moral encouragement and assured of every possible support from to them from district Administration.
