District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad today reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day function here.The meeting held threadbare discussions on arrangements to be put in place at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Bandipora, venue for the National function, including security, seating, transportation, parking, electricity, cleanliness and medicare besides others.The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate arrangements of security, sanitation, healthcare, electricity and drinking water are put in place to make the event a success.Dr Owais Ahmad constituted several committees to oversee different arrangements and also directed for close coordination among the concerned departments for the smooth and successful conduct of function.Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Zahoor Ahmad Mir, SSP Bandipora, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Medical Officer, and District Heads of various departments, officers of Army, CRPF and other senior officers of the district.
