State Government committed towards fulfilling promises made in Vision Document: Suresh Bhardwaj

Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that the State Government is committed to fulfil all promises made in the Vision Document-2017 of the BJP, so that along with the speedy development of the State, upliftment of every section of the society could also be ensured. He said that the Vision Document has been adopted as a Policy Document by the State Government. He said that most of the commitments made in the Vision Document have been fulfilled and priority was being given to the remaining promises. This would not only ensure prosperity and self reliance but also strengthen the youth by providing them opportunities for employment and self employment.Shri Bhardwaj said this while presiding over the Cabinet Sub-Committee for implementation of Himachal Vision Document.Members of the committee Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur and Industry Minister Bikram Singh were also present in the meeting.While reviewing the works of Excise and Taxation department, Suresh Bhardwaj said that all the commitments made in regards to the department in Vision Document have been fulfilled. He said that the annual limit for GST registration has been enhanced from Rs. 40 lakh and e-tendering has also been made mandatory for transparency in the work process.He said that according to the Vision Document, all registered light vehicles of Himachal Pradesh have been given relaxation on Toll Tax barriers adjoining the borders of the State. He said that certain amendments have also be made in liquor policy.Member Secretary and Secretary General Administration Devesh Kumar conducted the proceeding of the meeting.Additional Chief Secretary Nisha Singh, Principal Secretary Excise and Taxation Jagdish Chander Sharma, Secretary Finance Akshay Sood and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
