Covid management reviewed in Reasi district

Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib today chaired a meeting to review the   COVID-19 management and  control measures in the district, here at a meeting .The meeting was attended by ADC, Rajinder Kumar Sharma; ACR, Sanjay Badyal; CMO, Rajiv Kumar Sharma and other District Officers.It was informed that  all borders along  adjoining Reasi  districts are being  manned by police personnel and check posts are  operatinalised at all 6 routes towards Reasi to keep the track on  travelers and vehicles on daily basis.It was further informed that the district administration has set up various control rooms including Covid-19, Red Cross Helpline, Administrative, Migrant Labour and essential supplies for the welfare of the people.The DC addressed the issues of migrant labourers. She appreciated the efforts of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi ji Shrine Board and NHPC for their significant contribution in providing bedding and food items to the quarantined people at Katra and other areas.Meanwhile, the concerned officers apprised the Deputy Commissioner of various anti-corana activities being undertaken to control the spread of the virus.She directed the concerned agencies to ensure strict implementation of COVID-19 related advisories in letter and spirit.The DC also reviewed the status of Quarantine Capacity at Reasi, identified locations, Covid care centres, persons in quarantine and number of persons under COVID Care Treatment Centre. She also called for encouraging the people   to install Arogya Setu App to stay informed about the Covid situation.
