Senior Superintendent of Police Jalandhar (Rural)  Navjot Singh Mahal today envisioned that the ‘Mission Fateh’ started by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh would transform the state by making it totally Corona Virus free.The Senior Superintendent of Police, who spearheaded the campaign in Adampur block of the district, said that the main focus of the mission was to ensure the resurgence of the state amidst the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic. He said that under the Mission massive awareness drive has been initiated by various departments to make the people aware about the precautions to be taken for checking the spread of Corona virus. Mr. Mahal said that the focus was to educate and inform the masses about the ways and means to combat Corona effectively.Senior Superintendent of Police said that it was primarily aimed at spreading mass awareness about the Covid 19 pandemic. He said that the campaign has broadened the ambit of Mission Fateh beyond the frontline workers thereby transforming fight against Covid 19 into a mass movement. Mr. Mahal said that during the drive emphasis was being laid on recognizing the threat of the virus, which continues to pose serious dangers to the people. Senior Superintendent of Police said that ‘Mission Fateh’ was a true reflection of the Punjabi spirit that could overcome all odds to emerge victorious. He envisioned that 'Mission Fateh' has emerged as a symbol of firm resolve of the people of Punjab to check the spread of novel corona virus through discipline, cooperation and compassion. Mr. Mahal said that the Chief Minister has through this mission stressed on the need for adherence to all safety protocols, cooperation with the state government through compliance with the lockdown restrictions and compassion towards the poor. In the same manner Superintendent of Police Mr. RPS Sandhu and Mr. Sarabjeet Singh Bahia, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Jaspreet Singh and other officers also carried on the awareness drive in various parts of the district.
