Two Unidentified Militants were killed in Gunfight at South Kashmir's Pulwama Town on Saturday.Report's said gunfight breaks out in Dangerpora outskirts of Pulwama town in which two Militants were killed.Amid Gunfight 2G Internet Services were snapped in Pulwama police district as a Precautionary measure by Authorities.Srinagar based Defence Spokesman Dr Rajesh Kalia told,Op Dangerpura (Pulwama). Two Militants killed. Joint Operation in progress.A Police officer told, A Corden and search Operation was launched by 55RR after credible input received about Presence of Militants in Dangerpora.After searches intensified by Joint Forces of 55RR ,Crpf and J&K police,Militants fired upon forces which was retaliated immediately triggering the Gunfight.He added,two dead bodies were recovered by forces from Encounter site and identification of the slain is being ascertained.Here is Police press release of the incident read as,Based on a credible input about the presence of militants in Hydergund Dangerpora area of district Pulwama, a cordon and search operation was launched jointly by Pulwama Police, 55RR and 182Bn, 183Bn CRPF in the area.A police spokesman said that during the search operation, the hiding Militants fired on the search party. The fire was retaliated leading to an encounter. “In the ensuing encounter, two militants were killed. The identification of slain is being ascertained.The medico-legal formalities of the killed militants are being done,” said the spokesman. “Incriminating material including arms and ammunition were also recovered from the site of encounter .Police has registered a case and initiated investigation in the matter,” he said. “People are requested to cooperate with police till the area is completely sanitized and cleared of all the explosive materials if any,” said police spokesman in a statement.
