Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association today donated water cooler filter to provide pure and soft drinking water for the students of Government Primary School, Valmiki Ghati. Mayor of Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, Balkar Singh Sandhu, MLA Surinder Dawar and Councillor Mamta Ashu presented RO Water Filter Cooler to the Principal of the school Shikha Sapra on behalf of Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association.It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu had sanctioned grant to the Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association, which is now being used for this noble cause.All the officials and members of the Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association along with Councillor Prabhjot Kaur, Councillor Anil Parti and BPO Bhupinder Kaur were present on this occasion.Addressing the occasion, Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, MLA Surinder Davar and Councillor Mamta Ashu praised the Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association, saying that children from poor sections of the society come to the government schools for study. The Association has done a commendable job by providing pure and cold water to them. They deserve to be congratulated for this.On this occasion, the Ludhiana Photo Journalists Association announced that with this the association has started working on the concept of “Clean Water Healthy Life" to poor students and for this, more Water cooler filters will be offered to such needy Government Schools.
