Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar called on Union Minister of State (Independent charge) for AYUSH Yesso Naik at New Delhi today and requested him to expedite the formalities for upgrading Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College Paprola to All India Institute of Ayurveda. He informed him that state cabinet has given the approval for issuing No Objection Certificate for pursuing the case further with centre.He said that this would become a premiere Ayurvedic institution in the state with the facility of 250 bedded in-patient department, 11 new departments and 1 super speciality ward. Beside this, treatment would be provided to 2 lakh patients per year and Under Graduate, Post Graduate, PhD courses of national and international standards would also be available. He added that it will have 100 BAMS seats, Post Graduation in 56 departments and PhD in 24 departments besides having best of modern and traditional treatment facilities.The Union Minister assured of speedy action in this regard.
