Urban Development Minister, Himachal Pradesh, Sarveen Chaudhary participated in Smart City World Expo Congress being held at Barcelona in Spain from 19th to 21st November, 2019, where she delivered talk and presentation on 'Digital Twins and Urban Planning: Bridging the Digital and Physical'.During this event, she explained the use of technology being used by Shimla Jal Prabandhan Nigam Limited (SJPNL) in management of drinking water supply scheme in Shimla city which has resulted in adequate drinking water in the city. She urged the scientists to invent and use technology for making the life of human being more comfortable.She also inaugurated India Pavilion at the Expo where she was given warm welcome by Charge D'affairs M.S. Bhandari. The Minister also thanked the Barcelona Administration for the hospitality and welcome.Secretary, Urban Development, Town and Country Planning and Housing, C. Paulrasu was also present on the occasion.
