Cabinet Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria and local MLA Navtej Singh Cheema formally welcomed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today here at Sultanpur Lodhi. CM Nitish Kumar was here to pay homage at Gurudwara Ber Sahib on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji.Mr. Sarkaria and MLA Cheema made the CM aware of the arrangements done by Punjab Government to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purab of first Guru of Sikhs. They informed that apart from the overall development of holy city, Sultanpur Lodhi, the government has also ensured every possible facility for the convenience of pilgrims. They said that during the celebrations more than 50 lakh pilgrims would visit the holy city and the devotees were being overwhelmingly welcomed by the organizers. They added that the adequate arrangements of traffic, accommodation, security, langar and other basic amenities were being appreciated by the visitors.
