The meeting of the cabinet sub-committee constituted to exclude various areas of the state from the ambit of town and country planning department was held here today under the chairmanship of Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur. The other members of the committee Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj and Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur were also present in the meeting.It was decided during the meeting that open public hearing would be held for the people of the rural areas include under SADA and planning areas to know about their opinion.  Mahender Singh said that around 120 proposals have been received by the Committee so far from various rural areas where people have demanded exclusion from the planning areas.The Minister said that three Committees have been constituted to hear the grievances of people of these areas and based on their suggestions; these committees would submit their recommendations to the government.It was decided that Irrigation and Public Health Minister would listen to the public grievances at various places in Mandi districts, Education Minister in Shimla district and Forest Minister in Kullu district.
