Debasree Chaudhuri took charge as the Minister of State of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, in New Delhi today. The 48 year Old Minister representing Raiganj Lok Sabha Constituency in West Bengal has worked in the field of youth and women development.Addressing media persons, soon after taking charge, the Minister said that she will build on the positive measures already taken up by the Ministry and will continue to pursue the course of holistic development and gender equality of women.
