PDP today expelled senior leader and ex minister Muhammad Altaf Bukhari from the party on the pretext of indulging in anti party activities.The PDP today took to its twitter account to reveal the senior leader has been expelled from the basic membership of the party.“Party toady expelled altaf bukhari from the party for his anti party activities, party has ben watching with concern the activities of altaf Bukhari for quite some time and there by stands expelled from the basic membership of the party,” reads the tweet.In a statement to Valley Media Service, the PDP said that ever since the demise of Mufti Muhammad Syed, Bukhari has been persuing his personal political ambition at the cost of the party and state interest.PDP has also accused Bukhari of attempting to break the party by hobnobbing with its rivals ever since the end of PDP-BJP coalition in the state. Moreover, the party also said that despite all, party reposed its trust in him but to no avail.“Bukhari inspired and led dissent in the party at its most crucial stage which resulted to the serious efforts at implementing the agenda of alliance of our coalition government,” the statement said.Bukhari has served as Education minister and finance minister under PDP during PDP-BJP coalition.I’m feeling relieved by the decision, “With passing time it was getting difficult for me to continue being part of this party, it was going against my own conscience”, Altaf Bukhari told Valley Media Service.
