A delegation of Aam Aadmi Party led by chief spokesperson and MLA Prof. Baljinder Kaur today called on the chief election commissioner Punjab and raised the issue of wrongdoing being committed by Congress leaders in the process of Panchayt elections in state.Prof. Baljinder said that the govt. officials are hand in glove with congress leaders and rejecting the nomination papers of the candidates belong to opposition parties. She said that the govt. implemented fauly reservation policy to benefit the congress candidates.The delegation demanded to extend the date of nomnation filing so that the candidated belong to opposition parties whose papers were rejected without any reason can file it again. They said that it is the duty of election commission to reinstall the failth of people on democracy so it is needed to give all candidates an equal playground.The state head of legal wing, Adv. Jastej Singh Arora was also present on the occasion.
