“United Nations should take a serious note of happenings in Kashmir and follow up its recent report on human rights violations in Jammu Kashmir with some concrete steps to save the lives of innocent Kashmiris. Indian state by Killing innocent Kashmiris will actually gain nothing but shame and disgrace. The blood of martyrs will never go waste, this was stated by various leaders of JKLF while addressing protest rallies across Pakistan administered Kashmir and Pakistan held against unabated Indian ‘attrocities’ in Jammu Kashmir. As per a statement issued by JKLF, the rally at Mirpur was led by Khawaja Pervez, Sajid Sidiqi, Aftab Ahmed and Saad Ansari, at Kotli led by Raja Haq Nawaz and Choudhry, Yousuf, at Bagh led by Jehangir Mirza,  at Kotli City  was led by Dilshad Qureshi, Yousuf Choudhry and Malik Aslam, at Kotli University  was led by  Waqar Malik, at Rawlakote  was led by Advovated SM Ibrahim and Sardar Ibrahim, at Thorad, Rawlakot led by Sheikh Ramzan, at Mandhole was led by Tahir Bashir and Sardar Fayaz, at Tatapani  was led by Ayaz Karim and Mubashir Ahmad, at Nakyal was led by Noman Ahmad, at Hajira by Nazakat Kashmiri, Zulfikhar Ahmed and Faizan Ahmad, at Sarsawah led by Ashfaq Kashmiri and Showkat Kashmiri, at Tradkhal led by Choudhry Shakeel and Qari Naseer, at Kot Jehmil Bhimber  led by Touseef Jarral, at Baloch Sudhnoti led by Sardar Faheem and Sardar Naveed , at Rangla Bagh led by Raja Tasneem. Similar protests were held at Charhoyee, Khoiratta and other places. Protests were jointly organized and led by JKLF and JKSLF. It is pertinent to mention that JKLF UK and EU Zones are going to hold similar protests in front of Indian Embassies and High Commissions on 20th December 2018. Protests are also scheduled in UK, France, Belgium, Finland and many other important cities. In Pakistan similar protests will be held Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore too.

In Maisuma Srinagar, on JRL call, JKLF leaders and activists with scores of people in large numbers offered funeral prayers in absentia for recent slain. Rich tributes were paid to these martyrs and participants expressed solidarity with the kin and kith of these martyrs. Various JKLF leaders including Secretary General JKLF Ghulam Rasool Dar, Zonal General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Rashid, zonal vice president Muhammad Sideeq Shah, Mir Muhammad Zaman, Professor Javed,Mushtaq Ahmad Khan,Javeed Ahmad Bhat along with resistance Leaders Shabir Ahmad Dar, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi and trade union leader Sajad Gul etc participated in this prayers meeting and paid rich tributes to innocent slain youth. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Mushtaq Ajmal, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Muhammad Hanif Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Imtiyaz A Ganie, Shakir Ahmad Ahangar, Fayaz Ahmad, Basharat Ahmad and others are still in police custody and languishing at various police stations.Meanwhile JKLF incarcerated chairman has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Muhammad Subhan Sheikh who was father of incarcerated JKLF senior member Assadullah Sheikh of Kulgam. Assadullah Sheikh was arrested by police in 2016 and slapped with a PSA and released after one year of incarceration, soon after his release this ailing political worker was again put behind bars under draconian law PSA and is still languishing in Kot-balwal jail. Such is the callous and brutal behavior of police and civil administration that this political activist is not being released and given a chance to offer funeral prayers for his dead father and share moments of grief with his bereaved family.JKLF chairman has also expressed heartfelt grief over the demise of the mother of another senior JKLF member Showkat Ahmad Gatoo of Bijbihara and also at the demise of the mother of Master Muhammad Akram of Hardutoor Shangus. JKLF vice chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, District president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq and district president Kulgam Abdul Sattar along with others visited the bereaved families and expressed condolences to them.
