Indus Public School celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day to spread awareness among the students about the sacrifices made by the armed forces personnel in protecting and safeguarding the country.Armed Forces Flag Day is observed every year on December 7. Students later also, remembered soldiers, their valour, selfless commitment and sacrifices for the security and integrity of the country in their speeches. The stage show put up by them concluded that the freedom we enjoy is the outcome of sacrifices made by our soldiers performing duties in even unfriendly conditions.
So we should always express gratitude towards them.Col. C.S Cheema Director & Col. S.P.S Cheema Manager of the school said the day is celebrated every year to honour the soldiers, sailors and airmen who protect our country day and night and those who sacrificed their lives for the unity and the integrity of the nation. According to Parampreet Principal of the school commemoration of such days helped in remembering the sacrifices made by soldiers and inspired the youth to safeguard the nation against any threat . Students were later motivated them to join Indian Armed Forces.
