Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami demands PM Modi’s resignation over skyrocketing prices of essential commodities

The Communist Party of India (M) on Monday demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Narinder Modi over skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and unabated fuel hike.Reports reaching news gathering agency Global News Service (GNS) today said that dozens of CPI (M) workers led by the state secretary Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami this afternoon assembled at Press Colony here and staged anti-Modi govt demonstration.The protesters carrying party flags were shouting slogans against Modi government for allegedly failing on all promises. The protest was organized in response to the call given by the Indian National Congress and supported by left parties.“Modi’s government has made lives of common masses miserable. People are facing difficulties in making both ends meet as fuel prices keep on rising and essentials commodities have become unaffordable,” Tarigami said.From Kanyakumari to Kashmir, Tarigami said people were on the streets to register their anger against the anti-people policies of the present Central government.“Mr Modi no one is ready to trust your fake promises anymore. It is high time for you to step down,” he said.“Modi had not only failed to do justice with Kashmiris but he has also hurt every Indian with his policies,” he added. (GNS)
