President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and Lok Sabha Member Sunil Jakhar today said that the report of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission, to be tabled in Punjab assembly tomorrow, would expose the key conspirators behind the barbaric incident of Behbal Kalan firing.Interacting with the media persons here at local circuit house, the Lok Sabha MP, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers Mr. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, said that the Commission would expose all the forces who had conspired for disturbing peace and harmony of the state for their vested political interests. He said that such forces who had stage managed the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and ordered firing in Behbal Kalan would be taken to task by ensuring exemplary action against them. Mr. Jakhar said that infact the report of Commission would write the political obituary of all the leaders, who had so far misled the people on name of religion and masterminded desecration besides ordering firing at Behbal Kalan for pursuing their political agenda. The Lok Sabha MP also urged the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to enhance the security of all those people who have been named in the report, till they were not put behind the bars, for their protection. He said that incident at Yuba city in United States on Sunday was reflective of people’s anger against these people. Mr. Jakhar said that those people who had perpetrated these heinous crimes against humanity and Punjab, may fall victim to people’s anger.

The Lok Sabha MP dared the SAD Chief Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal to explain his role in the meeting held with Dera Chief at Mumbai besides explaining the reason behind firing and the allegations of investment being made in movies to mint huge profits after the meeting. He said that former Deputy Chief Minister, who also held the portfolio of Home Affairs, should also explain the reason behind the firing that took place in Behbal Kalan thereby killing many innocent people. Mr. Jakhar also asked the former Deputy Chief Minister to refrain from issuing baseless and irrational statements against the Commission adding that the managed clean chit by bollywood star Mr. Akshay Khanna doesn’t absolve Akali Dal and its leaders of all their misdeeds. He said that it doesn’t behoves a leader of stature of Akali Dal Chief to issue such illogical statements.Making a scathing attack on Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Lok Sabha MP quipped that probably the Akali Dal chief has read it on the wall that wise people of state would never support them again because of their dubious character. He said that owing to this reason only the Akali Dal Chief was running from Punjab and dreaming of contesting elections in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

However, Mr. Jakhar said that the former Deputy Chief Minister was living in ‘fool’s paradise’ as Punjabis across the globe would never forgive Akali leaders for their misdeeds, due to which they would be completely wiped out from political arena. The Lok Sabha MP also slammed the Akali leadership for using derogatory language against the Commission and Cabinet Minister Mr. Randhawa. He said that the commission has submitted its report that would be tabled before the assembly tomorrow. Mr. Jakhar said that the state government would ensure exemplary action against all the guilty for sacrilege and firing incident adding that action taken report would also be presented before the people regarding report by commission. The Lok Sabha MP also advised the President of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee to desist for making any comment on the commission or the member of Cabinet. He said that the current incumbent of this highly revered post had gone to Dera Sacha Sauda for seeking votes during the assembly polls. Mr. Jakhar said that it was unfortunate that such respected organizations too had been converted into political mouthpieces by those who had used religion for their political purposes.Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included MLAs Mr. Sushil Kumar Rinku, Mr. Rajinder Beri, Mr. Bawa Henry and Mr. Hardev Singh Laddi Sherowalia, former Minister Mr. Joginder Singh Mann, former MLA Mr. Jagbir Singh Brar, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Mr. Jagdish Raj Raja, President of District Congress Committee Mr. Daljeet Singh Ahluwalia and others.
