National Conference Wednesday said that history and people of Kashmir will never forgive People’s Democratic Party for giving red carpet treatment to RSS and BJP in Kashmir.Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar said that power blinded PDP to the extent that it opened the doors for RSS and BJP in Kashmir who are now directly involved in Kashmir politics. “PDP groomed RSS cadre and leaders and facilitated their entry into Kashmir,” Sagar told CNS.He said PDP helped BJP in eroding the important provisions of Article 370. “With the active support of PDP, BJP was able to implement GST in Jammu and Kashmir. It enforced the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Securities Interest Act, 2002 (also known as the SARFAESI Act) and amended Transfer of Property Act as well,” he said.During PDP-BJP rule, not only militants and civilians were targeted but properties of people were targeted also. “Civilians were killed at will. Tourism industry suffered huge losses.Ransacking of houses, trashing of people, blinding youth, killing of civilians were some of the common features of their rule,” he said. (CNS)
