GHSS Kulgam hosts ‘Innovative Experimental Demonstration’ program

A day-long ‘Innovative Experimental Demonstration’ program was organised at Governmmnet Girls Higher Secondary School Kulgam in collaboration with the Science Teachers Association, J&K.During the program, renowned Experimental Physicist and founder member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), Prof M S Marwaha demonstrated nearly 100 innovative activities in the field of Physics.The demonstration was side-line event of ‘Saiqa Memorial Day’ which is celebrated every year in the memory of Late Saiqa Wanchu, an active Science Communicator from Srinagar who died on May 15, 2016.This year’s Memorial Day is scheduled at Boys Higher Secondary School, Baramulla. In the main program, the Science Teachers Association J&K has planned to train 30 Physics teachers simultaneously.The students of Baramulla school will relish the wonders of science by watching the demonstrations and also holding interactions with the renowned Physics professor, who is presently working as Principal Guru Gobind Singh College, Chandigarh Punjab.
