Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said that health services would be further strengthened in the state and all the people would be benefited under the universal health protection scheme. He said that the government would soon fill up 100 posts of doctors to cater to the heath needs of the people of rural areas.He was presiding over a meeting of senior officers of the health department, here today. He said the infrastructural facilities would be strengthened at Chamba, Ner Chowk and Nahan medical colleges besides filling up the vacant posts of the faculty.Shri Parmar earlier visited IGMC, Shimla and held meeting with the Principle and head of the departments. He directed the hospital administration to provide best possible facilities to the patients and maintain proper cleanliness in the hospital premises.Principal Secretary, Health Shri Prabodh Saxena, Director Health Dr. Baldev Thakur, Director, NRHM Shri Pankaj Rai and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
