Opposition Congress Thursday claimed that the BJP leader in Budgam has “handed over” the service rifle of his PSO to militants, rather than the latter having snatched the weapon from him.Opposition Congress Legislative party leader and MLA Leh, Nawang Rigzin Jora, took potshots in the Lower House on BJP.“On one hand BJP is demanding aerial strikes on Pakistan after Pampore attacks and on the other side their leader has handed over a service rifle of his PSO to militants,” Jora said. “Which face of BJP should we accept,” he asked.BJP defeated candidate from Budgam, Abdul Rehman Chopan, on Tuesday had informed police that unidentified gunmen had “snatched” service rifle of PSO of BJP leader Chopan.However, BJP legislators confronted Jora on the remark.But NC, and Congress members supported Jora and asked the government to inform the House on the incident.
