A meeting of the Committee on Government Assurances of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Nawang Rigzine Jora.Legislators, Mohammed Amin Bhat and Dina Nath Bhagat attended the meeting and gave their views and suggestions regarding the government assurances pending before the house.The Committee decided that the Power Works Department (R&B) to be examined in next meeting scheduled to be held on 22nd of August 2017 at Lobby hall in Assembly Complex.The Committee directed the Assembly Secretariat to seek a detailed report regarding the government assurances given by the Public Works Department (R&B) contained in its 21st report of the committee on Government Assurances 2016-17 on the floor of the house from time to time. Among others, Deputy Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Fayaz Ahmad Shah and other officials were also present on the occasion.
