Coming down heavily on the AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for his "utterances" and "anti-national" stand taken on the issue of the anti-India activities in the JNU campus, the state unit of  Punjab BJP has stated that Rahul do not have nationalist genes because of which he cannot see the difference between waging war against nation and the freedom to dissent. In a statement issued today, BJP State Chief Shri Kamal Sharma launched a scathing attack on Rahul saying, "Feeling of nationalism is inculcated from the womb of a nationalist mother and not a foreign national, as is the case with Rahul."Shri Sharma said it was most unfortunate that Rahul and his brigade has come out in support of those who celebrated Afzal Guru day at JNU.

"A terrorist, who targeted Parliament - the temple of Indian democracy, is being glorified by anti-nationals and Rahul is supporting them. He has shown true colours of having genes of a  foreign national. What Rahul has done is highly shameful", thundered the state chief.Shri Sharma also said that there are numerous examples to prove the Congress love for the terrorists. "Congress calls Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative Ishrat Jahan an innocent,Former Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Singh had reffered Beant Singh assasin Jagtar Singh Hawara as a gentleman ,Former MP CM Digvijay Singh called Osama Bin Laden as 'Osama Ji'. This is the real character of congress and now the entire nation is witness to the anti-India agenda being pursued by Gandhi's."
