The General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Manjinder Singh Sirsa today questioned the intention of Aam Admi Party in holding a congregation in Shaheedi Jor Mela in Fatehgarh Sahib two day ago.  “It is without doubt that the activists were transported from all place to Fatehgarh Sahib to be part of the crowds had not come to pay obeisance but came to gain political mileage”, Sirsa said .Seeking an apology from the Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal for hurting the religious sentiments of the community as they sat on the stage to discussed politics while lashing the Punjab government, without caring about the religious sanctity of the occasion. When Sikhs in the entire world were full of compassion remembering Supreme Sacrifice of chotte Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh and Mata Gujari Ji, the AAP activists in utter disgrace were discussing politics and setting the dream to form their government in Punjab after 2017 elections.

In a bid to promote their brand “topi” they completely forgot the sanctity of the solemn occasion when sangat had assembled to pay homage to unparallel Sacrifice in the annals of history.Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that AAP leader Sanjay Singh also owes an explanation if Aam Aami Party was at Jor Mela only for political purposes or to pay homage to Chhote Sahibzades for their supreme sacrifice to pay tributes to the Sikh Gurus? He said that the Aam Aadmi leaders led by Sanjay Singh made attempts to showcase their “topis” with an eye on forthcoming elections in Punjab. Such a blasphemous activity by AAP at the historic “Shaheedi Jor Mela” speaks volumes to which level AAP leaders can stoop to make political capital out of a sacred event – Sirsa said.He also said that “everyone knows AAP leaders are opportunistic and it is unpardonable that they could stoop to such a level for their political goals” and asked Sikh supporters of AAP present at the Jor Mela to raise their voice against AAP leaders for tarnishing the maryada on a holy occasion.
