State BJP chief Kamal Sharma today said that the Congress don’t have the habit of living out of power and whenever they sit in opposition their effort is to create divide between the people and communities to score political points. In his address in Sadhbhawana Rally held at Patiala, the state BJP chief said that the Congress has always tried to divide the communicates and people while remaining out of power.“Be it was the Jammu and Kashmir of the north east states, wherever Congress ruled and thereafter went out of power, it tried to create divide. In Punjab also, they have taken the same line. In fact I should say, they crossed the line in desperation to come in power and stood by those people in Chabba gathering who were demanding Khalistan,” said Sharma.Sharma said that in Punjab also Congress was pursuing the same policy to disturb hard earned peace of state. However, he said that the brave and wise people of state would thwart the nefarious designs of Congress.

“Congress doesn’t have agenda for the people of the country. In Punjab, they are trying to disturb the hard earned communal harmony by joining hands with the Khalistanis whereas in the country they are not allowing the Parliament to function so that the Union Government cannot take pro-people decision,” said Sharma. He said that Congress has adopted such tactics just to destabilize the present SAD-BJP government and to mislead the people that only Congress can handle Punjab very well. “But people of Punjab were wise enough to understand this bad game of the Congress and have already stood by SAD-BJP to ensure communal harmony,” said the Punjab BJP president.Sharma said that the case of “National Herald” has exposed the Congress badly and the Congress leaders knew that their claim of innocence before the courts are going to fall as it’s a clear cut case of blatant corruption by Gandhi family.Attacking Captain Amarinder Singh, the state BJP chief said that the former chief minister don’t want to leave his royal mindset and that is why have given the name of Bathinda rally as his “coronation” rally. He said that Sadbhawana rallies were successful in cementing the ethos of brotherhood in the state.
