Stating that youth of the State have pivotal role in nation building activities, the Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation & Flood Control, Mr. Abdul Majeed Padder Friday said government has prioritized education sector and focused attention is being given to improve the standard of this most significant sector.The Minister said this while speaking at a large gathering of students, parents, public representatives and people after inaugurating Government High School building at D.H. Pora in Noorabad Constituency.The 2 storey school building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 40 lakh under SSA and will enrich scores of students with light of education.Mr. Paddar also stressed on inculcating moral and ethical education to students and asked students to participate in sports activities also. He said students are future and voice of nation and should be provided better facilities to lead the State and to touch new horizons of prosperity and progressThe Minister also asked the Chief Education Officer to take up the work on fencing around the school building on priority besides ensuring clean surroundings.
