Stressing upon Government functionaries to work for timely completion of all ongoing developmental projects in the district besides ensuring effective public delivery system, Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Irrigation & Flood Control and Animal Husbandry, Mr. Abdul Majeed Padder has said that Mufti Mohammad Syed led coalition government is working hard to provide better civic facilities to public besides uplifting their socio-economic conditions.  .

The Minister said this while chairing an officers meeting to take stock of various developmental projects in Kulgam district.The meeting was attended by the officers of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Forest, Social Forestry, Soil Conservation, Fisheries, CA&PD, PDD and other departments.Mr. Padder asked concerned to speed up the pace of all ongoing works so that there are completed well before ensuing winter season. 

He enjoined upon the officers to perform duties with missionary zeal and leave no stone unturned in public welfare. He asked them to ensure availability of essential commodities and uninterrupted supply of power and drinking water. He also asked for ensuring adequate healthcare facilities and sufficient stocks of medicines in far flung areas of district so that people do not face any difficulty for want of basic amenities. He called for effective public delivery system on ground.The Minister also emphasized on ensuring punctuality and duty consciousness among government official to ensure speedy disposal of public issues. He said present dispensation will not spare such employees who are not responsive and prompt to public calls.
