‘The brave people of Rajasthan has laid the foundation of installation of NDA government in the country after ensuing general elections by handing over Congress an embarrassing defeat in recently held Vidhan Sabha elections and now the political extinction of this anti-poor party is imminent’. This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal, who along with Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal specially air dashes here to attend the swearing in ceremony of Rajasthan Chief Minister Mrs. Vasundhra Raje and to congratulate her on behalf of people of Punjab.

In an informal interaction with media persons here, Mr. Badal pointed out that the drubbing of Congress by voters was an indication of a common man’s growing anger against its mis-governance, unleashing of unprecedented inflation and anti-poor policies making the lives of common masses miserable leaving them in lurch for even two square meal. He said that the way people of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi have shown the door to Congress, the writing on wall after general elections was all clear. He said that the intelligent electorates of Rajasthan by using their ballot power have thrown out an in-efficient and corrupt regime paving way for the installation of BJP government.

Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister said that well begun was half done and the recent land sliding victory in four states would act as a game changer for coming general elections. He said that Congress should prepare itself for the worst defeat as the people of the country were itching their hands to teach a lesson to Congress led UPA regime, which never bothered to give any respite to a common man rather allowed the shameless loot of national resources for a consideration. He appealed the people of country to join hands to save country from the clutches of Congress and its allies thereby brought back the country on track for overall development and economic growth.

Member Parliament Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that the Congress led UPA has been fully exposed throughout the country and people were eagerly waiting general elections to ensure its pack up. Earlier congratulating Mrs. Vasundhra Raje, they expressed confidence that her government would definitely provide much needed relief to common masses besides providing a transparent, responsive and efficient regime in the state.Mr. Harcharan Bains, Media Advisor to Chief Minister and Mr. S.K.Sandhu, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister were accompanying him.
