Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sukhnandan Kumar informed the House said that there is no shortage of drinking water supply in most of the areas of Zadibal constituency. However, some areas located on the higher elevation or falling at the tail-end of the distribution system are facing shortage of drinking water during peak summer months when the entire system remains under tremendous strain. The water supply position in the constituency is by and large satisfactory.The Minister was replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Mr. Abid Hussain Ansari in Legislative Assembly regarding drinking water supply position in Zadibal constituency of district Srinagar.
