Coalition Govt led by PDP, out of frustration, is hell bent upon to crush the Congress Party by withdrawing security cover from Office Bearers, Contesting Candidates, District Presidents aiming to create a sense of insecurity among the party cadres, but such tactics are not going to affect the resolve of Congress men across J&K in highlighting the failures of present dispensation this was stated by PCC Vice Presidents G. M. Saroori, Gulam Nabi Monga, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar Vice Presidents and Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi in a joint statement to KNS.PCC Office bearers castigated the State Govt for undermining & withdrawal of Security cover from Congress Party Leaders and its (Coalition Govt’s) approach about their safety is highly objectionable aiming to demoralize a strong opposition (Congress Party) from playing its role, in the present scenario.
Coalition Govt in a deliberate attempt is trying to expose Congress Party Leaders to great threats by risking their lives in absence of Security Cover, PCC Leaders alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to curb the voice of Congress Party.Terming withdrawal of Security Cover as highly objectionable, condemnable and bias, PCC leaders asserted that Congress Party being a formidable Force is targeted for it’s positive approach towards the common masses in the State, but it (Congress) would continue to raise its voice against the wrong and anti people policies and defeat the nefarious designs of Coalition Govt.PCC Leaders said that withdrawal of security Cover won’t deter Congress men to fight over people’s issues, it is unfortunate that the Security Cover provided to them is being downgraded or withdrawn for the fact that Coalition Govt led by PDP is unable to counter the Congress Party on various counts particularly on the issues confronting people.
Accusing the present dispensation for downgrading or withdrawing the security cover provided to Congress men only, PCC Leaders said it was a deliberate move to undermine the security of Congress men. They said, if there was no need for security cover to Congress men, then the Security Cover provided to Ministers and Ruling Party Members should also have been downgraded or withdrawn, but the discrimination on this point on the party PDP led Govt is nothing, but a political victimization aiming to demoralize the Congress men across the State.Referring to the recently concluded Rahul Gandhi’s significant visit to J&K State, PCC Leaders said it has further disturbed the Coalition Govt as his (Rahul Gandhi’s) visit has further proved that Congress Party represents aspirations of the people in all the three regions of the state, fully.PCC Office bearers asked the Coalition Govt to stop victimizing tactfully members of opposition as it is fraught with dangerous consequences, ahead.
