Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Noorabad, Abdul Majeed Padar today laid foundation of road from Chitripora to Gasrenoo road via Laker Pombay in Noorabad Constituency.The 2.75-kilometre road would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 32.50 lakh.The road would provide connectivity to a huge population in the area. The expected date of completion of this road is March 2019.Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that developmental works across Noorabad constituency are in full swing and Government is committed to strengthen road connectivity in all areas. He also commissioned 250 kv transformer in Chatripora village to provide smooth power supply in the village. He directed PDD, PHE Departments to augment power and water supply in the area.Later several locals met Padder and put forth several demands and grievances. He assured that all their grievances will be redressed and directed the concern officers to take the requisite steps in this regard.ACR Kulgam, Executive Engineer R&B, officers of PDD, PHE and officers from various departments were present on the occasion.
