Jammu , 19 Mar 2014

Continuing with his election campaign, BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith State Vice-President Col. (Retd.) Uttam Singh, State General Secretary Bali Bhagat, Political Advisor Prof. Hari Om, Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Convenor Yudhvir Sethi, Jammu Rural District President Sukhdev Singh and other senior leaders, addressed a series of impressive public meetings at Chinore, Bantalab, Dharamkhoo, Amb, Dab Karmdeen, Purkhoo and Domana in Raipur-Domana assembly constituency.

While addressing these meetings, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the people in every part of the country, including J&K, are now well aware that the Congress-led UPA-1 and UPA-2 promoted dynastic rule, burdened the country with price-rise, corruption, scams etc. It lowered the country’s prestige at international level due to its weak and directionless foreign policy. “Pakistan and China indulged in infiltration, killing of Indian soldiers and innocent civilians due to complete silence of the Congress-led UPA”, he said.

Appealing the people to support BJP, Sharma said that vote for BJP means victory of nationalist forces and strengthening the nationalist forces in Jammu and Kashmir is all the more necessary to defeat anti-national elements. “Although I have been MLA from Nagrota but I raised the voice of whole of Jammu province in the state assembly and assure to continue the same in the Lok Sabha after getting elected”, he said and expressed hope that the people will not fall in trap of Congress and NC and punish them for their misdeeds and mis-governance.Col. Uttam Singh, appealed the ex-serviceman in particular, to vote in favour of BJP and teach Congress and NC a lesson for their discriminatory policies in J&K towards the retired jawans.

Bali Bhagat said that the Congress always took the SCs, STs, OBCs and other weaker sections for granted and never deemed it necessary to implement the welfare schemes in a transparent manner and the time has come when these sections of the society are going to oppose Congress tooth and nail.Prof. Hari Om, while presenting the figures of discrimination with Jammu, said that the people cannot be misled anymore by Congress or NC as the facts and past record themselves expose these political parties for their anti-Jammu, anti-people, anti-youth, anti-refugee policies.Sukhdev Singh assured the party leadership of record voting in favour of BJP in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.A number of prominent social leaders namely Mudhu Sudan, Prem Choudhary, Mahesh Khajuria, Ankush Suden, and Pappu Panch, Poonam Panch also joined BJP. They were welcomed into the party fold by Jugal Kishore Sharma and other leaders, who garlanded them.  Bansi Lal Bharti, Karan Singh, Surinder Bhagat, Joginder Singh, Ajeet Singh, Omi Khajuria, Swarn Singh, Suraj Padha, Hans Raj Manhas, Narendra Singh, S. Jaswant Singh and Th. Naseeb Singh, also accompanied Sharma.
