District Development Commissioner, today convened a meeting to review digital transactions, Aadhar based Bio metric identification and skill profiling of CSLWs in the district.Threadbare discussion was held with all the district officers of different departments regarding the progress of submission of relevant information of CSLWs.To ensure that the Aadhar based biometric identification process is completed at the earliest, the Deputy commissioner set a deadline of two weeks and directed the concerned departments to register the eligible CSLWs by or before the said date failing which the concerned department shall have to face the action and it will be presumed that department has registered all the eligible CSLWs in the process . “And no further extension will be granted on this account,” the meeting told.Earlier, to promote the concept of digital mode of payments and to celebrate “Digi Dhan Mela” at gross root level the Deputy commissioner directed the Rural development department to intensify awareness campaign to familiarise the people with its benefits. It was further directed to choose major villages from eleven blocks and send trained field functionaries to these villages and trained the common masses at the gross root level.The education department and banks representatives were directed to hold awareness campaign separately by organizing debates and seminars at various educational institutions.
