A five-member delegation led by former external affairs minister, Yashwant Sinha Tuesday evening called on called on chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah at Police Station Rajbagh.DFP spokesperson told KNS that Shah told the delegation that Pakistan is an important stakeholder and it’s participation in any dialogue for resolution of Kashmir issue is must.During a meeting which lasted for one hour, Shah referred to the present uprising and told delegation that for the last 107 days 94 people have been killed with 15,000 people injured and an equal number, especially youth are arrested.According to KNS, Shah told the delegation that draconian laws like PSA are slapped on minors and youth indiscriminately. He further told them that forces have damaged crops, cut down trees, damaged private properties and are using bullets and pellets against peaceful protests while hundreds of youth and children have been blinded in forces “unprovoked action.”“Youth are holding stone today are being pushed to take guns by the India as every sort of atrocities has crossed its limits in Kashmir,” shah told delegation.
