Expressing party’s condolences and sympathies with the martyrs of Indian army who sacrificed their lives while fighting the militants in Uri, State BJP Sunday termed it as the attack in army brigade as an act of cowardice by Pakistan and reflection of frustration. In an emergency meeting of BJP senior leaders at Katra on the sidelines of the ongoing Training Workshop, State President & MLA Sat Sharma, along with Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, discussed the situation and condemned the barbaric act triggered at the behest of Pakistan. They in a statement issued to KNS said that the party and the entire nation stand with the bereaved families, whose sons got martyrdom for the motherland and added that the nation will always remember them. The meeting observed that during the last over three months, the Pakistan has been exposed at the international level for its act of pushing trained terrorists into Indian Territory.

“Our brave army men on borders and security personnel in civilian areas have been neutralizing the militants, which Pakistan cannot digest and is making attempts to register its presence so that its mercenaries do not get demoralized but Pakistan will never succeed in its nefarious designs, the BJP leaders declared,” they said. The BJP leaders were of the view that the time has come when the Union government should adopt a decisive strategy to give Pakistan a befitting reply for what it has been doing in Kashmir under proxy war.The meeting was attended by Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Health Minister, Jammu and Kashmir Government, Bali Bhagat, State General Secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta.
